Berry Jr. Enters Iowa Dirt Nationals Tripleheader

Tom Berry Jr. entered the opening round of the Iowa Dirt Nationals on Thursday evening at Dubuque (Iowa) Fairgrounds Speedway.

Forty-six Karl Kustoms XR Stock Cars entered the event, and a win from the second-starting spot in his heat race earned Tom a spot in the feature redraw.

Receiving the fifth-starting spot for the 25-lap feature, Berry Jr. was an early retiree to a 25th-place finish.

Berry Jr. bounced back in the second round of the event on Friday night. He started his outing by charging from sixth-to-second in his heat race to once again earn a spot in the redraw.

Main event action found him racing from ninth-to-third in the 25-lap feature behind Dallon Murty and Dylan Thornton.

On Saturday evening the final round of the weekend came to life. A heat race win positioned Tom in the feature redraw for the second-straight night.

After receiving the fifth-starting spot for the 30-lap finale, Tom advanced to a runner-up finish behind Kaden Reynolds with Damon Murty, Jacob Ellithorpe, and Dallon Murty completing the Top-5 finishers.
