TBJ steers to podium finish at Park Jefferson
The Park Jefferson Speedway (Jefferson, South Dakota) season wrapped up on Saturday with 33 IMCA Modified competitors at the 3/8-mile track for the Charlie Clark Memorial. Among them was Tom Berry Jr. and his strong Jahnke Heating and Air Conditioning No. 11x car.
Berry transferred to the 40-lap, $5,022-to-win A-Main early in the evening with a third-place result in his heat race. After starting 13th on the grid in the feature, he moved into the top five on the sixth circuit, and marched forward an impressive 10 positions total to score a podium result with a third-place finish.
He followed Jesse Dennis and Brandon Beckendorf under the checkered flag on the racy track, with Jordan Grabouski finishing fourth and Jack McBirnie taking the fifth spot.
