Tom Berry Jr. muscles to 12th at Mississippi Thunder

Back in action following a pair of wins in The Hawkeye State, Tom Berry Jr. unloaded his Brodehl Trucking No. 11x Lethal Chassis Modified at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) on Thursday for the track’s 16th season opener.

Despite losing ground in his heat race, Berry was able to secure his spot into the main event with a flag-to-flag victory in his 10-lap consolation race. Charging from the ninth row in the feature, Tom gained five positions in the 30-lap affair to place 12th.

The second attempt at the USMTS Featherlite Fall Jamboree on Friday and Saturday at Deer Creek Speedway was cancelled by Mother Nature.
